Hello friends and family. Today we went to Cana. The first miracle of Jesus! It was so amazing to see the old roads and the old jars. To think that Christ and Mary were present and celebrated at this feast! They allow couples to renew their wedding. Ows here as well! How beautiful! We then traveled to the place place where Christ multiplied the loaves. The old christians marked this spot with a huge rock whih is now the enter of the church! and where Jesus installed Peter as the rock of the Church. This church was on the sea of galilee! We all waded in the water. We then went on a boat ride of the sea. It was hard to fathom that this was the same sea Jesus walked on and calmed. Jesus spent most of his time around one lake yet changed the world! Jesus please give me this faith! Love you all! Offering mass and tons of prayers everyday!
Im sorry everyone. These posts are out of order. It is probably because until today my blog page was all in hebrew! And i was typing backwards and couldnt figure out the buttons! Haha. Anyways Cana was yesterday, Mt. Tabor was today and Nazareth was on Monday.
Hala friends and family! On today's journey traveled to Mount Tabor. This is the site of the transfiguration of Christ. Fr. was telling us today that in the bible mountains are always associated with covenants. (Think of Moses, Abraham, etc.) This instance represents a foreshadowing of the new covenant with Jesus. Moses on the left represents the law, Elijah represents the prophets, and then Jesus the new covenant. The church was built on top of old ruins that you could see through glass. The church itself was built in a fashion representing the three tents. Their are two small ones on the sides and then the main altar of course represents Christ. We had mass and adoration there. I was contemplating something during adoration. Lord I am walking in Your footsteps (literally) now and visiting places You preached. I have been wondering and wanting to be back in that time, walking side by side with You as a disciple. I want to share with you the revelation that I received my time with our Lord. "The disciples walked next to me and talked with me face to face, but you just received me. My blood is running through yours. This happens each time you choose to receive me in my holy sacrifice of the mass." I share that with you friends because Christ revealed to me that I can never be closer to Him then when I choose to receive Him, no matter where we are! I leave you with this! I love you all!
